I’m Kat Cutright, Academic Dean at Exceptional Minds Academy. I lead the staff in developing animation, and visual effects curriculum for artists on the autism spectrum. We create classes that combine traditional art training with in-demand technical and professional skills. Recently, we successfully moved all of our classes, including social programming, online and we are thriving. Arts education is an amazing tool to helps students develop their voice and share their perspective with the community. I love working with artists on the autism spectrum because they have such unique and valuable perspectives to share. Outside of my job, I am a sculptor and painter, and I currently live and work out of a 100-year-old house in Lincoln Heights, CA.
