David Long is a seasoned motion design professional with extensive experience in the automotive and aerospace industries. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Arts from Bowling Green State University.

David began his career at a television station in Toledo, Ohio, where he earned an Emmy Award for editing a local campaign. He was quickly promoted to oversee commercial production, managing everything from scriptwriting and video shooting to editing and motion graphics. His hands-on approach extended to onsite meetings with local businesses and in-house edit sessions with clients.

As a Senior Visualization and Experience Designer at General Motors Advanced Design Studio in Los Angeles, David contributed to automotive UX/UI development, designing and animating human-machine interface (HMI) projects for advanced concept vehicles. He also produced lighting animations for exterior and interior vehicle teams and played a key role in concept presentations. David would go on to demonstrate some of these automotive experiences for senior leadership and public media at events in Detroit, San Francisco, and Dubai.

Beyond automotive HMI design, David has collaborated with Fortune 100 companies, creating interactive displays and immersive experiences for corporate installations and trade shows. His expertise in merging storytelling with technology allows him to craft compelling visual narratives that enhance user engagement and brand communication.

David resides in Los Angeles and continues to explore new creative and technological avenues for digital experiences.
