The best in show ("The Art of Weightlessness") is eligible for an Oscar. The Electronic Theater, a qualifier for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, is widely recognized for its groundbreaking contributions from artists, researchers, and innovators around the world.

LA ACM SIGGRAPH is proud to present the SIGGRAPH 2024 Computer Animation Festival's Electronic Theater. For a full breakdown of the films featured in the Traveling Show, please visit https://siggraph2024et-travelingshow.eventive.org/films. This traveling animation show is slightly condensed from the version shown at SIGGRAPH 2024. Award winners include Best in Show, Best Student Project, Jury's Choice, and Audience Choice. The Electronic Theater will be presented in 4K at Sony's Ray Harryhausen Theater. The schedule is listed below. Entrance is free to this event, but EACH ATTENDEE must register to be able to get onto the Sony lot and into the theater.

Registration

This is a free, in-person, 4K Screening of the SIGGRAPH 2024 Electronic Theater. Each attendee must register to get access to the Sony lot and the screening. Registration closed on Sunday, February 09, 2025 to get the gate-list to Sony. You can no longer get a name added.
