Press Passes
We encourage you or your Southern California based field reporter to join us at our events. Members of the Press are always welcome to attend our events at no cost, with a prearranged Press Pass. For a Press Pass use our contact form and send it to 'Publicity'. In the body of the message, please provide the following:
- Your First & Last Name
- Media Outlet Name
- Your Editor or Publishers Name & eMail address
Logos
The Chapter has logos available for download and use. If you you use any of these logos you must follow these rules:
- No modification to the logo file is allowed
- You may only use the logo to identify LA ACM SIGGRAPH Professional Chapter
- You may not put text over the logo or encroach on any of the sides with the following exception
- The words "LA ACM SIGGRAPH" may be placed beneath the logo
- The words must in one the fonts: Arial, Helvetica
- The font size must no less than 8% of the logo image height, but not less than 8px.
- The font must be bold
- All letters must be uppercase
- The width of the words should be within 10% of the logo image width
- The logo may be scaled down if a suitable size is not available.
- The logo may be scaled up by a maximum of 20% if a suitable size is not available.
- Except for use as a "favicon", the logo size shall not be smaller than 50x50 pixels.
- You must maintain the integrity of the logo.
- You may use the logo on 3D objects when the logo integrity is maintained.
Web
Logos are available in Web form downloaded as a ZIP file (566KB). The file name format is "LASig-<type>-<background>-<size>.<file-type>. Note that all combinations are not available.
where
- <type> is the logo color type - either 'Color' or 'BW'
- <background> is the background color - either 'Transparent' or 'White'
- <size> is the image size in pixels expressed as <w>x<h> -- width x height.
- <file-type> is the image file type - either 'png' or 'jpg'
