Description

Unreal 5.0 was formally released in April 2022 with the promise of empowering next-generation real-time 3D content and experiences with greater freedom, fidelity, and flexibility than ever before. New features include Lumen, a fully dynamic global illumination and reflections system, Virtual Shadow Maps with high-resolution shadowing, World Partition Tool which breaks the world into grids which only load when needed and MetaHuman Character Creator which allows realistic characters to be created at will. CGPro School’s founder and principal instructor, Edward Dawson-Taylor, introduces Unreal Engine 5 for beginners then takes us on a tour of UE5’s new capabilities in this interactive virtual event featuring case studies with live demonstrations.
