Description:
"One of the LA SIGGRAPH's most popular events is our annual, "Careers in Digital Media". This event features a panel of experts in the field who will discuss the outlook for digital graphics, providing insights into roles in VR, gaming, motion design, film, and emerging media.
What trends are being observed? Where are jobs in-demand, and where are they not? How do they see career opportunities evolving? What are the major post-pandemic shifts we are seeing? And additionally, what is the impact of new technologies on the job landscape?
We will explore freelancing as a viable career path, getting advice from professionals who have been freelancing for much of their careers and examine the job market beyond Los Angeles and the film/TV industry.as these become extremely important during this current industry downturn, as well as for those living outside the Los Angeles area. Attendees can expect to gain valuable strategies for entering the rapidly evolving digital graphics job market.
This event is also a fantastic opportunity for professionals to stay informed about industry changes and learn how to adapt to shifting career dynamics."
